Introduction
This 2 Day Turkmenistan Tour is the perfect choice for travelers arriving in Ashgabat and continuing their journey into Iran. The program combines the highlights of the marble capital with the country’s most famous natural wonder. On the first day, explore Ashgabat’s monuments, museums, and bazaars before heading deep into the Karakum Desert to witness the blazing Darvaza Gas Crater, also known as the “Gates of Hell.” Spend the evening at the crater with dinner and overnight in yurts under the desert sky. On the second day, return to Ashgabat with stops at water and mud craters, enjoy more time in the city, and finish with a transfer to the Bajgiran border for your onward trip to Iran.
