Why Your Guide Comes With Your Tour
In Turkmenistan, your guide is part of your official travel arrangements. When we prepare your e-Visa, the tour company and its guide are included in your trip details — so our guides work only as part of a Darvaza Tour itinerary and can't be booked separately.
For the same reason, the guide assigned to your trip normally stays with you from the first day to the last. It's good for you too: one person who knows your plans, your pace and your wishes for the whole journey.

What languages do your guides speak?
All our guides speak English, Russian and Turkish. If you'd like a guide in another language, let us know before booking — we can arrange a guide for other languages on request.
Can I hire a guide in Turkmenistan without a tour?
Not with us. Your guide is part of your tour and e-Visa arrangements, so our guides only work as part of a Darvaza Tour itinerary. Choose one of our Turkmenistan tours and the guide is included.
Will I have the same guide for the whole trip?
Yes, normally. The guide assigned to your tour travels with you from the first day to the last, and we avoid changing guides during a trip.
Is the guide included in the tour price?
Yes. A local guide is included in every Darvaza Tour itinerary.
Do you have female guides?
Yes. Our team includes both female and male guides — our lead guide Aiza is one of them. If you have a preference, let us know when you book.
