Introduction

This 3 Day Turkmenistan Tour starts in Ashgabat, the marble capital recognized in the Guinness Book of Records for its unique architecture. After arrival, explore the city’s museums, monuments, and bazaars before heading deep into the Karakum Desert to witness the fiery Darvaza Gas Crater, also known as the “Gates of Hell.” Enjoy dinner and overnight in traditional yurts under the desert sky. The journey continues with more sightseeing in Ashgabat, followed by an overnight train ride to Turkmenabat — a memorable experience of wagon tourism with local travelers, card games, and tea in the dining car. On the final day, arrive in Turkmenabat and transfer to the Farap border near Bukhara, completing this adventurous 3-day program.
