Day 1: Shavat–Dashoguz–Darvaza
- Meet at the Uzbekistan border (Shavat) near Khiva and Urgench
- Drive to Kunya Urgench
- Drive to Darvaza
- Arrive at the Darvaza gas crater (“Gates of Hell”)
- Dinner at a yurt camp
- Overnight stay in a yurt or tent at Darvaza
Day 2: Darvaza–Ashgabat
- Breakfast at Darvaza
- Drive to Ashgabat (300km, 5 hours)
- See water crater and mud crater en route
- Lunch at a restaurant in Ashgabat
- Check into hotel and Ashgabat city tour
- Dinner at a traditional restaurant in Ashgabat
- Overnight in Ashgabat
Day 3: Ashgabat–Merv (Mary City)
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Drive to Merv (400km, 4 hours)
- Lunch at a restaurant near Merv city
- Sightseeing in Merv: Gyz-Gala, Askhabi mausoleum, ancient fortresses of Gyaur Kala and Erk Kala, Sultan Sanjar mausoleum
- Dinner at a restaurant in Mary
- Overnight train from Merv to Turkmenabat
Day 4: Merv–Turkmenabat–Farab Border
- Morning arrival in Turkmenabat
- Drive to Farab border crossing (40km, 30-minute drive)
- Cross the border at Farab
