Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Shavat–Dashoguz–Darvaza
- Meet at Turkmenistan side of the Shavat border near Khiva and Urgench
- Drive to Darvaza through the Karakum Desert
- Arrive at the famous Darvaza gas crater (“Gates of Hell”) in time for sunset viewing
- Dinner under the stars at a traditional yurt camp
- Overnight stay in a comfortable yurt or tent at Darvaza
Day 2: Darvaza–Ashgabat
- Early morning drive to Ashgabat
- En route visits to water crater and mud crater geological sites
- Afternoon check-in at your hotel in Ashgabat
- Ashgabat city tour including main monuments and attractions
- Overnight in a comfortable hotel in Ashgabat
Day 3: Ashgabat–Merv/Mary City
- Drive to the ancient Silk Road city of Merv
- Lunch at a local restaurant near Merv

Day 4: Merv–Turkmenabat–Farab Border

- Drive to Farab border crossing (40km, approximately 30-minute drive)
- Cross the border to Uzbekistan at Farab, where you’ll continue to Bukhara
