This 3 days tour Turkmenistan is a compact journey that covers history, desert adventure, and the capital’s highlights. Enter through the Shavat border and visit Kunya-Urgench, a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient mausoleums and minarets. Continue to the fiery Darvaza Gas Crater for sunset views, dinner, and an overnight yurt stay under the desert sky. In Ashgabat, explore the “White Marble City,” visiting its museums, monuments, and lively bazaars before concluding with a guided transfer to the airport.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Shavat – Kunya-Urgench – Darvaza
- Meet at Shavat border crossing by 10:00 AM
- Visit Kunya-Urgench historical sites
- Drive to Darvaza Gas Crater
- Evening at the crater, dinner and overnight in yurts
Day 2: Darvaza – Ashgabat
- Morning departure from Darvaza
- Drive to Ashgabat with en route stops at Water and Mud Craters
- Afternoon Ashgabat city tour with guide
- Overnight in hotel
Day 3: Ashgabat – Airport Transfer
- Morning Ashgabat city tour with guide
- Transfer to airport, arrival at 1:00 PM for your flight
