Day 1. Arrival and Transfer to Turkmenbashi via Yangikala Canyons
- Early morning arrival at Ashgabat Airport
- Meet the English-speaking guide and transfer to the vehicle
- Drive toward Turkmenbashi on the Caspian Sea coast
- Stop at the spectacular Yangikala Canyons with stunning multi-colored rock formations
- Explore the dramatic canyon landscapes and enjoy photo stops
- Continue driving to Turkmenbashi
- Check into the hotel
- Evening at leisure for rest
- Overnight in Turkmenbashi
- Note: This is a long driving day
Day 2. Turkmenbashi – Nokhur Village – Kow Ata – Ashgabat
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Visit the picturesque Nokhur Mountain Village with its unique culture and traditions
- Explore Kow Ata underground thermal lake with an optional swim in the warm mineral waters
- Drive back to Ashgabat
- Dinner at a local Turkmen restaurant
- Overnight in Ashgabat
Day 3. Ashgabat – Ancient Merv – Overnight Train
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Drive to the Mary region to visit Ancient Merv, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Explore historical landmarks including Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum, Gyaur Kala fortress, and archaeological sites
- Dinner in Mary with traditional Turkmen cuisine
- Board the overnight train from Mary to Ashgabat
- Overnight on the train
Day 4. Arrival in Ashgabat – Darvaza Gas Crater
- Arrival in Ashgabat in the early morning
- Breakfast at a local restaurant
- Short Ashgabat city tour
- Afternoon drive north into the Karakum Desert toward the Darvaza Gas Crater
- Arrival at the burning crater before sunset
- Witness the spectacular view at dusk
- Dinner at the yurt camp with traditional Turkmen food
- Overnight in yurts at Darvaza
Day 5. Darvaza – Ashgabat
- Sunrise viewing at the crater
- Breakfast at the camp
- Visit nearby Water and Mud Craters
- Drive back to Ashgabat
- Continue the city tour including main landmarks such as the Independence Monument and Turkmenbashi Mosque
- Traditional Turkmen lunch at a local restaurant
- Overnight in Ashgabat
Day 6. Ashgabat City Exploration
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Full-day city tour of Ashgabat including:
- National Museum of History
- Neutrality Monument
- Ertugrul Gazi Mosque
- Local bazaar for souvenirs
- Traditional carpet weaving workshop
- Enjoy Turkmen cuisine throughout the day
- Free time for shopping or relaxation
- Overnight in Ashgabat
Day 7. Departure
- Transfer to Ashgabat Airport
- End of the tour
