Introduction
Tour Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Ashgabat
- Meet at the airport, transfer to hotel, check-in.
- Refresh and start Ashgabat city tour.
- Overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 2 — Ashgabat → Merv → Ashgabat
- Early departure to Mary (3.5–4h).
- Visit Ancient Merv: Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum, Erk Kala, Gyaur Kala, Kiz Kala.
- Drive back to Ashgabat.
- Overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 3 — Ashgabat → Darvaza → Arkadag
- Depart Ashgabat by midday.
- Stop at Water Crater and Mud Crater.
- Sunset–Night visit the Darvaza Gas Crater ("Door to Hell"): dinner, sunset photography and spectacular nighttime viewing (best after dark).
- Return to Arkadag city for overnight.
Day 4 — Arkadag → Kow-Ata → Yangykala → Turkmenbashi
- Morning drive to Kow-Ata Underground Lake (optional swim).
- Continue to Yangykala Canyon.
- Explore canyon and enjoy sunset views.
- Drive to Turkmenbashi.
- Check-in and dinner.
- Overnight in Turkmenbashi.
Day 5 — Turkmenbashi → Nokhur → Arkadag
- Relaxed morning walk in Awaza.
- Drive to Nokhur Mountain Village and explore.
- Continue to Arkadag.
- Check-in at Merkaw Hotel.
- Evening walk in the modern city center.
- Overnight in Arkadag
Day 6 — Arkadag → Ashgabat (Full Day Ashgabat City Tour)
- Drive to Ashgabat.
- Full-day city tour: museums, monuments, parks, bazaars, panoramic viewpoints.
- Overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 7 — Ashgabat → Dashoguz → Kunya-Urgench → Izmukshir → Ashgabat → Departure
- Morning flight to Dashoguz (06:00 or 09:55).
